This is the main entrance to the forted city, dated to the medieval period (around the 9th century). Mind the arches at the top of the high ceiling...

"A walk on the Beach"

The aqueduct runs along the shore of the Mediterenean sea, at a stretch of a beautiful beach, which is far from being virgin (the 4X4 tire track is visible enough). Many people were actually sleeping in tents and were just waking up when I reached the beach to take several shots. Others, like the couple and the lady playing with her dog, were doing her early morning sport. It was a beautiful morning for a lovely walk...

Returning back to Caesarea.

It was early in the morning and these youth were playing, mostly throwing lumps of dirt at each other, enjoying themselves, sometimes quarreling...this is their playground
